Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT)

Bachelor of Physiotherapy is 4½ years undergraduate Academic Course in a Medical Science Field with internship of 6 months.

Physiotherapy is a part of rehabilitative medicine. It focuses on the use of physical therapy, massages, physical movements and exercise to improve and cure injuries, deformities and diseases. Along with rehabilitation, some other important sections of physiotherapy are- diagnosis, examination and assessment of the condition.

Physiotherapy Degree Course is especially meant for those who have compassion for the sick or injured and provide core skills like manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of electro physical modalities, to the prospective students.

Physiotherapy is very challenging and demanding as one may need to work for long hours and have tremendous patience as some patients may not respond to immediate treatment.

Students who have passed 12th Science stream Biology group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects) from a recognized board are eligible to pursue this course.
